1-Ch 47, sc in 2nd ch from hook and each rem ch.

2-Turn, ch 3 [counts as 1st dc] sk 1st st, dc in next st, working in sk'd st, dc in sk'd st ( sk 1 st, dc in next st, dc in sk'd st) across, dc in last st.

Rep row 2 until square reaches 14 1/2inches

Finish off, weave in ends

Edging- W/ CC join w/ a sl st in any corner sp, ch 2, 3 hdc in sm sp, hdc evenly around entire square placing 3 hdc's in each corner sp, join in beg hdc. Finish off, weave in ends
