Summer Dreams Afghan

Summer Dreams Round Ripple Afghan

12 point round ripple afghan



Chain 6 join to form a ring ch 4



Row 1: DC in ring ch 1 11 times (12dc and 12ch1 sp) join with slip stitch to 3rd chain of ch4.



Row 2: ch3 dc in ch1 sp and each dc around join with slip stitch to first ch3 (24 dc)



Row 3: ch5 dc in same sp ch 1 *skp nxt dc dc ch2 dc in nxt sp ch1 repeat from * around join with slp st to 3rd ch in begning ch 5 (12 v st and 12ch1 sp)



Row 4: ch3(counts as dc)* dc ch2 dc in nxt ch2 sp dc in nxt 2 dc repeat from * around join to top of ch3



Row 5: sl st in nxt dc ch3 *2dc ch2 2dc(shell) in nxt ch2 sp dc in nxt dc skp nxt 2 dc dc in nxt dc repeat from * around join with sl st to first ch3







Row 6: sl st in nxt dc ch3 dc in nxt dc *2dc ch2 2dc(shell) in nxt ch2 sp dc in nxt 2 dc sk nxt 2 dc dc in nxt 2 dc repeat from* around join with sl st to first ch3



Row 7: sl st in nxt dc ch3 dc in nxt 2 dc *dc ch2 dc(v stitch) in nxt ch2 sp dc in nxt 3 dc

sk 2 dc dc in nxt 3 dc repeat from * around join with sl st to first ch3



repeat rows 5-7 for desired pattern size adding the dc's to the extra stitches before the ch2 sp.

You should work 2 rows of shell pattern(2dc ch2 2dc) and 1 row of v stitch(dc ch2 dc) which will help the pattern lay flat as it progresses.

change color as you wish and have fun with the pattern

HI! Love this pattern. Do you remember what kind of yarn and size of hook you used? I suppose there doesn't need to be a set size, etc. but I am curious. Thanks!
